Avery Anna Orlando Concert reviews
AC DC leaves United Center in flames
This was one of their better performances that I've seen Avery Anna numerous times over the years. From the opening animated sequence that featured Angus fueling a runaway train holding Brian Johnson and some very comely passengers that culminated with a life-size train engine crashing onto the stage, it was non-stop intense rock and roll. We sat in Sec. 1 14th row near the runway that extended into the audience and were treated to a great show. They prowled/profiled and dashed about the stage and down the runway into the audience with great effect. The sound was very good and crisp with each Angus note quite audible and clear. My body and ears were spent after the 2-hour show. I am amazed that these guys continue to have the stamina to put on such a high-energy show. Many fans were treated to a handshake or a high five from lead singer Johnson or a sweaty Angus. TNT, Shoot To Thrill, Highway to Hell, Hell's Bell's, She's Got the Jack (with some very good/raunchy audience shots) were just some of the highlights. Virtually all of the hits were covered and some of the new songs like "War Machine" were good also. Of course, the big cannons were rolled out for the grand finale "For Those About to Rock/We Salute You." Go see them, they are classics. You won't find many or any more fulfilling shows if you are a fan of this type of music.
